I have earned a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Notre Dame College and earned my Post Certification in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. I am a certified Professional Coach and Mediator. I believe counseling should be solutions based and client centered. I have experience working with anxiety, trauma, family conflict, including marriage issues, divorce, grief, and parenting issues. I approach counseling through a Judeo Christian lens, which means I am marriage and family friendly. I utilize techniques from Adlerian Theory that promote growth and resilience. I also use Cognitive Behavior Theory (CBT) working with negative thoughts, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helping to reframe and develop positive thoughts and behaviors. I am a certified Functional Nutrition Informed Professional and work with clients helping them live a healthier life. I have been self-employed for 16 years working with teenagers, young adults, and families helping with career, mental health issues, and family conflict. I have facilitated court ordered mediation and parenting classes. I have earned Supervisor Privileges from Department of Occupational Licensing in the State of Idaho.
